UFO

In GTA San Andreas, there are small blinking lights that can be witnessed flying at a very high altitude at any time of the day. These blinking lights fly faster than any vehicle in the game, and they have a very long vapor trail behind them. The player can never catch them, as they fly very fast. The purpose of these lights in the game has been a very hotly debated subject within the GTA Community.
In GTA San Andreas, the blinking lights in the sky could have been designed by game developers to look like airplanes. However, it is still unknown if game developers wanted these lights to look like UFOs. The only reason players think that they are UFOs is probably because they can never catch them. If the player gets close enough to the strange lights, he will find that they are just unsolid glowing spheres.
In GTA San Andreas, there is a UFO map of San Andreas inside the Lil' Probe Inn, which appears to be marked with small pins in various places on the map. The map appears to be marking UFO sightings within the state. Interestingly, the same map can also be found inside Mike Toreno's Ranch and in Area 69An NPC known as Mr. Trenchcoat is compared with UFOs. He will talk to CJ about them and will talk to other peds about aliens as well.
Snapshot icons usually get confused with UFOs, because at night, the icons emit a bright glowing light so the player can locate them easily. One example is the Snapshot icon hovering over Missionary Hill in San Fierro. However, most of the UFOs that have been seen look exactly like these glowing icons.
Nevertheless, it is not known why these strange blinking lights are included within the game, because the game features real solid airplanes that fly regularly over the sky.

Ghost Cars

Ghost Cars are one of the only myths in GTA San Andreas that has been proven to be real.

In the game, there is a variant of the Glendale car, called "
glenshit" in the game's internal files. This vehicle differs from the normal Glendale because all of its body panels and doors are dented. Its damages cannot be repaired by cheats or by visiting a Pay 'N' Spray. Several of these Beater Glendales spawn in the woods of Back O Beyond, south of the two horseshoe-shaped rocks. However, they spawn on the side of a steep hill, which makes them slide to the bottom of the hill as soon as they spawn, making it appear as if they are driving by themselves. This phenomenon can be witnessed at any time in the location in Back O Beyond; It is unknown if this is a glitch, or if game developers implemented this on purpose.Description

Many fan-made videos show the cars whirring to life with their lights turning on and attempting to run down the player. While this happens, the car is immune to damage, and will not stop unless the player is killed, or the car is somehow damaged beyond drivability. No evidence that supports these videos has ever been found.
There is a glitch on some PS2 versions of the game where the ghost car that 'rolls' down the hill spawns incorrectly, right through a tree. If this occurs, the driving wheels can be witnessed spinning on the ground silently, while the car remains stuck.

Big foot

Bigfoot is, by far, the most famous myth in GTA San Andreas. Bigfoot is a mythical primate which exists in North American folklore. The creature can supposedly be found in the San Andreas countryside (usually in Back O' Beyond or Mount Chiliad).

Description

Due to the vague photos and descriptions of this myth, Bigfoot's behavior remains largely unknown. Players generally say that they have seen Bigfoot from far away, usually as a burly figure walking through the forest who would flee of the player got too close. Rarer accounts say that Bigfoot attacked the player, or that the player could get up close to him. Nevertheless, the majority of video or photo evidence that proves Bigfoot's existence are either faked or are a mod. The debate that Bigfoot exists in San Andreas is still active to this day.

Where Bigfoot can be found in San Andreas
The existence of Bigfoot in GTA San Andreas has been the focal point of many internet-based rumors since the game was released in 2004. It is impossible to determine the start of these rumors. However, in the brochure that came with the game, an individual named "Big Foot" is credited in the "Thanks To" section, although this is just a nickname for a Rockstar Games employee. The same name can also be found in the manual for GTA Vice City, in the "Thanks To" section.
There are many supposed in-game references including evidence that supports that Bigfoot can be found. The whole idea of Bigfoot's existence fits nicely into the diverse world of the San Andreas countryside, especially its Flint County and Whetstoneareas, with large virgin forests and "spooky" locations. The most popular reported sighting locations are near the cave on the side of Mount Chiliad, the Shady Cabin area and Back'o'Beyond . Several screenshots and videos have been posted claiming to show the creature in the game. Sometimes genuine in-game captures of unofficial modifications or edited images and videos can fool players.
In an official interview with Terry Donovan released in 2005, he stated, "There is no Bigfoot, just like in real life. But there is something in the woods." This statement spurred a large debate within the GTA community about what Donovan was referring to. However, there is a small but vocal group of supporters of the creature's existence. Many people take Donovan's message as a hint, and search for Piggsy and other similar creatures in the San Andreas countryside.
Several attempts have been made to find textures, models and other assets for Bigfoot in the game's files. None of these attempts have returned any results.
